River talks are important.
I'm talking about oamaru creek and how there are too much rubbish (we need to clean up our creek so it can be clean for people to swim in. Do you ever want to swim in a dirty water?

 This presention is about my problem solving and how i worked it out. . I have done two problem solving. 

My awsome holiday in tonga

Walt: Follow the structure of a recount to write about a holiday highlight.

Intro: On the 30th of december my mum and I went to Tonga to visit my family.   First we drove to the airport Then we went to the check in where you get your tickets.
Then we went on the air new zealand plane.
It took 2 hours and 45 minutes from New zealand to Tonga.
But finally we landed on the ground I felt so happy to see my family.When we  arrived at tonga I saw a lot of coconut trees everywhere.  We grabbed all our bags and went around the Island in our car.
The next day we had to pack our bags again because we had to fly on are another plane to Vava’u. I felt scared because it felt like the plane was going to crash on the ground.
On the right side off the plane everyone saw the volcano exploded. There were a lot of fish that died in the sea. The sea was red and pink everywhere. We were all most at vava'u. When I step out off the plane it was really hot and sunny. We waited and waited for the people to come with all our bags. I felt happy to go to tonga and vava'u. I thought that it was awsome to go on the plane.

My task was to crate a poster for people to understand to be carfully.  Before you play on the beach you will need to be careful. Here is my poster that i created for you people to reameber to be careful to dotterels.

About Possum

WALT: look beyond the text.

If you would hear a possum on top of your roof it would make sound.

There are alot of ways you can catch a possum. One of them is to use a bait and put a piece of carrot. Then place the bait inside the cage.


A possum has a a thick bushy tail.
they have long fox like tapeing ears.
They have really pointed snout.



In room 6 reading group we have been learning about possum.

Walt: write a detailed introduction with hook and orientation Has  your teacher ever fed you chicken flavored worms? Our teacher might have had  too much coffee this morning because he was asking us questions about chicken flavored worms. It was so weird because we would never thought that he would teach us about chicken flavored worms.
