Key Competency - Managing Self

Today our class is focusing on our Key Competencies. Our aim was to stay on task and see how much progress we make for reading and writing in one morning block. This should set the standard for how much work we complete each time we have literacy.

Our two learning intentions were:

WALT: 1. Show how much progress we can make in one literacy session

2. Articulate what we are learning about.

A Serious Game

Good Morning Bloggers, This is my Presentation about a book name Serious Game.
Based on the text we had to answer Questions that was given by my teacher.
This is One of my favourite text to read now because it is an Interesting Book.

Water Cycle

Good Morning Bloggers, This is my Poster about the water cycle. This week i have been focusing on my reading. The text is called water worries. What i have learnt is that the text is about where different kinds of water comes from.

The task was to make a Presentation about the article called Olympic Runner Who Once Couldn’t Afford Shoes Now Donates Kicks To Kids. It was about a Girl name Brenda Martinez. Onomatopoeia

WALT:  We are learning to use onomatopoeia to help create interest in our writing

The Task was to draw a Onomatopoeia word.
I learnt what the Meaning of Onomatopoeia.
A onomatopoeia is a when a word Like Cat Makes a Sound. For Example the sound of cat Makes Meow. 

When The Door Gets Slam Really loud you can here it go BAM.

About Possum

WALT: look beyond the text.

If you would hear a possum on top of your roof it would make sound.

There are alot of ways you can catch a possum. One of them is to use a bait and put a piece of carrot. Then place the bait inside the cage.


A possum has a a thick bushy tail.
they have long fox like tapeing ears.
They have really pointed snout.



In room 6 reading group we have been learning about possum.
